High Tech Institute is expanding its activities with the introduction of events – an initiative aimed at strengthening knowledge sharing and collaboration within the high-tech ecosystem.
This expansion builds on the strong foundation of events previously organized by its sister company, Techwatch, known for its leading publications Bits&Chips and High-Tech Systems. By bringing these activities under the High Tech Institute umbrella and working closely together, both organizations combine their expertise in content, community and education to further support the high-tech industry.
Building on years of experience in delivering advanced technical training, High Tech Institute now takes the next step by creating platforms where engineers, systems architects, and decision-makers can connect, exchange insights, and explore emerging technologies together. This expansion complements our existing training portfolio and reinforces our mission to accelerate knowledge transfer in the high-tech industry.
The first event under this new initiative is the Bits&Chips Event 2026, taking place on 26 November 2026 at Van der Valk Eindhoven-Best.
This one-day exhibition and conference will focus on key challenges in:
- Complex software engineering
- AI in high-tech systems
- Systems architecture
Participants can expect a carefully curated program featuring keynote presentations, technical sessions, and real-world case studies, designed to deliver insights that can be directly applied in daily engineering practice.
The event brings together a broad audience of professionals – from managing directors and technical managers to system architects, software developers, and researchers – across industries such as semiconductors, automotive, healthcare, and industrial systems.
In addition, High Tech institute is actively involved in other community-driven events, such as the Dutch Systems Engineering Days 2026, which is organized in collaboration with INCOSE NL.
With those events, High Tech Institute aims to create meaningful connections between training, industry challenges, and real-world innovation – offering a place where knowledge doesn’t just transfer but evolves.
