Action learning, lectures, exercises, discussions, role-plays. Evening session with trainer Alejandra Nettel.
Being technically right is not enough. Engineers working on complex, multi-disciplinary projects need to communicate with precision and impact - to lead, collaborate, influence stakeholders, and resolve conflict constructively. Without these skills, even the strongest technical work can fail to land.
Do any of these situations sound familiar?
- Colleagues tell you that you can come across as too critical or too absolute in the way you communicate
- Your proposals struggle to gain full buy-in, even when the technical case is strong
- You find yourself in recurring discussions that consume time but don't produce decisions
This three-day course addresses these challenges head-on. It combines proven frameworks with intensive practical exercises, giving you the skills to communicate with greater clarity, conviction, and effectivess - starting from day one.
Available for open enrollment and as an in-company session tailored to your organization.

Designed for Engineers
This course is built specifically for engineers working in complex system development environments. Every exercise is grounded in realistic technical scenarios, and participants work with their own professional cases throughout - so what they learn is directly applicable to their day-to-day work
Personal Action Plan
Changing communication habits takes deliberate practice. Each participant leaves the course with a personal action plan that translates their learning into concrete steps for the workplace - ensuring the skills gained in the training room carry forward into real projects.
Feedback from Colleagues
Before the course begins, participants complete a brief 360-degree survey to gather structures feedback from colleagues on their communication strengths and development areas. This insight forms each participant's individual baseline for the training, making the learning relevant and personal from the outset.
All course materials, recommended reading, coffee/soft drinks and lunch are included. On the second day of the training there is also dinner included. Participants simply arrive ready to learn - we take care of the rest.
Methods
Certification
Participants will receive a High Tech Institute course certificate for attending this training.
